About Me
Hello!
My name is Jade Mycelia and I am a licensed machine-free tattoo artist at Jackalope Tattoo.
My passions include community organizing, any and all animals but especially that of the feline variety, and expanding my own consciousness to become a healthy and empathetic human being.
My tattoo practice is plant medicine informed and embraces the ritual of tattoo. I enjoy creating ornamental dotwork and nature-inspired designs that blend intricate patterns with organic elements. My work often draws from the delicate symmetry of mandalas, the flowing forms of botanical motifs, and the subtle textures found in natural landscapes. I strive to capture a sense of harmony and detail, whether through fine linework, stippling, or abstract interpretations of nature’s beauty.
Handpoking for me is a mindful meditation. All of my designs are hand drawn, meaning there is an organic flow rather than pristine symmetry. This approach challenges my perfectionist nature and allows me to find beauty in the elegance of “imperfection.”
